Setup When should I install the eSIM?

We recommend adding the eSIM profile before departure while connected to stable Wi-Fi. Turn on Data Roaming once you land in Korea to connect immediately.

Validity When does my validity period start, and how is a day counted?

Your validity begins only when your eSIM connects to a Korean network upon arrival. Each day is counted on a strict 24-hour cycle (e.g., a 5-Day plan provides 120 hours of service from first connection).

⚠️ If your trip spans multiple calendar days (e.g., 5 nights, 6 days), we recommend choosing a plan that matches your total travel dates (6 Days) for uninterrupted high-speed data until departure.

Data What happens if I use up my daily high-speed data? When does it reset?

You will never be cut off. Once daily high-speed data is used up, you get unlimited data at reduced speeds for messaging and maps. Your full-speed data resets daily at midnight (00:00 KST).

Roaming Can I keep my original number for WhatsApp and SMS?

Yes. Keep your primary SIM active for incoming calls and verification SMS. Select TripTube for Cellular Data only.

⚠️ To prevent unexpected roaming fees from your home carrier, make sure to turn OFF 'Data Roaming' on your primary line and disable 'Allow Cellular Data Switching'.

Hotspot Can I share data via mobile hotspot/tethering?

Yes, mobile hotspot and tethering are fully supported. You can easily share data with laptops, tablets, or travel companions.

Notice Can I re-install the eSIM or transfer it to another phone?

No. Each eSIM profile is strictly single-use. Once scanned or deleted, it cannot be recovered or transferred. Please do not delete it until your trip ends.

Refund Can I get a refund if my trip is cancelled?

Yes. Uninstalled and unactivated eSIMs are eligible for a 100% full refund before your trip. Please contact customer support with your order number.
